Used pictures of food to recreate an image. Very interesting project. I enjoyed finding the right combination of colors to make the picture look as realistic as possible.
It probably took me the longest to find a suitable image on the Internet that I could use as my basis for creation. Once I found a photograph I liked, I googled all the food I could think of that would match the colors. Then I used all of the features of Photoshop and, combined with my amateur knowledge and experience using this program, I came up with this. It's a good project to include in my portfolio because it shows where I was when I first began learning in Desktop Publishing, and I'll probably remember it twenty years from now as the building block upon which I first started. The bush is rather iffy; if I could redo it I would probably try to make it a little more life-like. I would say the ground is my favorite part (I used potatoes for that!). Overall I had a good time creating this, and I say that enjoying what you do is essential to adding life and emotion to your artwork. I would give this piece a 3 out of 10 because of the slight lack of detail and lack of variety of food sources.

Kati, I think that the bush looks great, very creative, If I were just looking at this picture I would never know that it was made from food !!! I really like this one I would give it a 10!
