Desktop Publishing: Butterfly Made of D's

Created in Photoshop

  • Desktop Publishing: Butterfly Made of D's
My other classmates and I were assigned this unique project to assess our creativity and knowledge of how to use the program to its fullest extent. Using a letter of our name, we made copies of it and distorted it to design an image that is intricate and nothing like the original letter. Very fun and good practice for the projects we worked on later in the year. I think that if someone were to look at this they probably wouldn't be able to see any 'D's anywhere, and I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not. But I do like my patterns and the fact that the entire thing is symmetrical. I would give this a 7 out of 10 because I think it looks very nice, considering I had no idea how to use Photoshop when I created it.

Great job Kati, I like it, you can look at it and see the D's and then look at it again and not see the D's all you see is a butterfly! I give it a 9!
