My class was assigned to come up with a new brand of energy drink, create the can, and make different advertisements for our product. While I was researching energy drink designs and logos, I had the sudden realization that all energy drinks have some sort of memorable design and macho name, like Monster or Full Throttle. So this is my end product. I gotta say, I'm rather pleased with this. I don't consider myself to be any good with creating advertisements and whatnot, even though I get all the elements and what is required of a good advertisement. It just doesn't come naturally. So I would give this piece an 8 out of 10 because the colors stand out (in a good way, I hope) and the whole thing draws the eye of the reader. The only downside I'm worried about is that there may be too much writing. Plus the eye doesn't flow down the words naturally. But I'll remember this project 20 years from now because it was an entirely unique and informative experience.
