BASICS - magazine ad / Desktop Publishing / Katilyn Davis

This was probably one of the biggest projects of the year. My class had to design a DVD cover, magazine ad, production company logo, and a movie theater ticket among other things that compiled together ended up being worth around 300-400 points. I like my use of color, but I could have done a lot more with the photos to make it look smoother and not strange or jolting. Other than that I think I did a decent job, considering I just jumped into the project without really thinking any of it through first, which is definitely NOT the way to go. Very stressful, but fun at the same time. So I would give this ad a 4 out of 10; hopefully you get the general idea of the movie just by looking at this piece, because isn't that what advertising movies is all about?
